About Romy!

Romy Bavli is a New York–based actor who earned her B.A. in Theater (Acting) from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television. Born and raised in NYC, she trained through Stella Adler’s teen intensives and Carnegie Mellon University’s pre-college summer drama program, and is currently part of Sheila Gray’s acting studio.

Passionate about working across multiple mediums, she pursues roles in theater, film, television, and animation voiceover. Primarily a straight actor, she’s often brought in for actor-who-sings roles, and has musical theater experience. She’s self-taught on guitar and ukulele and has some movement and dance training as well.

Outside of acting, Romy has appeared in print projects, is passionate about animal advocacy, enjoys painting, creative writing, and has been writing and developing a queer coming-of-age feature film since 2019.
